Shipping Information:

Many awning items are custom made with typical time to manufacture being approximately two weeks to three weeks from the date of order placement. Additionally most items are seasonal with peak periods being in the Spring and Summer which may cause some additional shipping delays. Most items are shipped within 5 to 15 business days of order placement.

Awnings center offers free shipping on selected window awnings, patio awnings, shade sails, patio umbrellas and door canopies. Please note that retractable patio awnings are over-sized and must be shipped out via common carrier. A local contact number is necessary for the freight carrier to be able to schedule a delivery which is true for most large items.

Free shipping on selected products only applies to shipping within the continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada would be subject to additional shipping charges which can be determined at the time of purchase.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies

Warranty Claims

Please note that all warranty issues are the responsibility of the manufacturer and should be addressed to them as it is always the manufacturer that warranties a product and not the dealer. We are always glad to assist you in filing these claims.

Damaged Merchandise

Customers should inspect all goods upon arrival especially before signing Bill of Lading or merchandise receipt release. If there are any damages you need to note them on the Bill of Lading sheet and e-mail customer service immediately within 24 hours to report these damages. Any freight damaged or defective items need to be reported immediately to the freight carrier as well as our company. We can only exchange defective items or damaged items caused during shipping of any products. Any type of damaged freight such as flattened or torn boxes or materials must be documented and noted with the freight carrier at the time of delivery. The failure to report freight damage to the freight carrier at the time of delivery will eliminate the possibility of customer reimbursement for freight damaged products. We also need to be made aware within 24 hours of filing any freight damage with the carrier.

All damages due to improper use, negligence or incorrect installation are not covered under warranty or reimbursement. Please note that fabric or vinyl awnings are not designed to handle snow loads or sustained periods of high winds. Items subjected to these conditions are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Damaged or defective goods will be exchanged upon return if item is readily available and proper notification has been provided. On freight damaged items the outcome of the freight claim will also need to be decided prior to any actions being taken. You will need to e-mail customer service before returning to acquire a return shipping label or UPS call tag.

Non-defective, non-custom merchandise

You must first e-mail customer service for a return authorization prior to returning any non-defective products. Requests for return authorizations for any reason other than warranty issues and damaged merchandise must be submitted within 14 days of receipt of merchandise. Non-defective merchandise must be in its original, unopened packaging that will allow the merchandise to be re-sold. A 25% restocking fee and all shipping charges/processing and handling fees will be the responsibility of the purchaser. All charges and fees will be deducted from the amount of the refund. The vast majority of items particularly vinyl window awnings, shade sails, vinyl window shades, patio umbrellas, D.I.Y. awnings and sun screens have re-stocking fees associated that amount to 25%. Consequently please double-check all measurements and desired colors to avoid any additional handling fees.

Custom Merchandise

Please note that custom awnings, custom shades and custom made door canopies are not returnable as these are all made to specific sizes, colors and projections. Consequently please double-check all measurements and desired colors to avoid any future problems. Also note that most manufacturers recommend a 3" to 6" overlap on each end of their awnings mainly for cosmetic purposes

Cancelled Orders

Any request to cancel an order must be made and acknowledged by Awnings Center within 24 hours of placing the order. This is particularly important when ordering custom made items. If your order is canceled after merchandise has shipped the purchaser will be responsible for all shipping charges, restocking charges and processing fees. These fees and related charges will be deducted also note that returns are not allowed for custom made products. Please note that there will be a restocking charge applied to any cancelled order. On other outdoor items there is a twenty-one day return policy which only asks for the returned items to be sent back in the identical form in which they were received in with all associated parts taking care to protect the inner and outer packaging. The returned items should be available for resale when received.

Product descriptions, accuracy and availability

Awnings Center makes every attempt to be as accurate as possible in its description and product images. However we cannot guarantee that the product descriptions, availability or other content is completely accurate, reliable or error free even though much of this information comes to us directly from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, such inaccurate information may relate directly to the price of a product, the description of a product or its availability. We reserve the right to correct all such mistakes at any time without notice as well as make pricing changes. Product colors and images may vary based on camera angle, indoor or outdoor lighting, monitor quality, computer graphics cards or other circumstances beyond our control. Products returned due to color variances will be considered a return of non-defective merchandise. If an item may be listed with a wrong price based upon our error or a typographical error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed with an incorrect price whether or not the order has already been confirmed or charged through with a credit card. If a credit card charge has occurred we will issue a credit to your account for the charge card amount and notify you of the incorrect pricing

Awntech-Beautymark Cancellation/Return Policy

You can only return a product without recourse if it is defective upon arrival. If you simply do not like the product, or if you did not measure correctly, you will only be qualified for a merchandise credit and you will be required to pay for shipping the product back to Awntech in re stock condition. There will be a 25% restock fee applicable once your goods have shipped.

Customers have up to 30 days from delivery to return their product, otherwise they will qualify only for warranty replacements, subject to the restrictions set forth herein. Customized awnings (dimensions outside of Awntech’s standard offerings) and fixed awnings over 10ft wide cannot be returned and will qualify only for warranty replacements, subject to the restrictions set forth herein. Customers have 24 hours after placing their order to request an order cancellation, otherwise a 10% order cancellation fee will be applied. As stated in our return policy, if the order is cancelled after the order has shipped, a 25% restock fee will be applied.

*Fixed Awnings over 10ft wide are non-refundable

Please note if you return an item that has qualified for free shipping the original outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
